Review: Touhou Marisa Kirisame Rev.Tokiame by Kotobukiya

Apparently CanadaPost delivers parcels on weekends during the holiday seasons. What a surprise it was to receive a figure several days earlier than you expected.

 Front and back.

Review: Aya Shameimaru by Griffon Enterprises

The traditional reporter of fantasy, Aya Shameimaru, dropping in! One of Griffon's earlier Touhou figures that I was able to obtain through Mandarake. The box itself isn't that special, but from what I've seen none of Griffon's boxes stand out that much. I did find this amusing though

Review: Revoltech Enkidu by Kaiyodo

It's Enkidu's turn up! I was able to get him for the low price of 1000yen from Mandarake. The box is actually really small, only slightly bigger than a regular book. Nothing special about the box either, it's just a regular old box.

Review: Touhou Nendoroid Petit Set #1 by Good Smile Company

Nendoroid Petit Set #1 comes with the famous poor shrine maiden and two out of three of her playable partners from Subterranean Animism. The box is fairly simple and mine was damaged slightly in the corners.

I was a bit disappointed by this set because after receiving it, there were some fine QUALITY that was apparent on Suika and Reimu. After doing some research, it seems GSC is a bit sloppy with their Nendoroid Petit product line. Several others seem to have reported different problems ranging from horrible paint jobs to pieces falling off. I was able to fix most of my problems with a bit of handy work, but this is enough to make me stay away from future petit sets.

Review: Nendoroid Remilia Scarlet by Good Smile Company

Here comes the mistress of the night, Remilia Scarlet! I don't usually collect Nendoroids, but I figured I should at least get one or two. Remilia's box is roughly the same size as a Figma box, give or take some. The box itself isn't very fancy, but the side windows were a nice touch.

Review: Alice Margatroid Fumofumo Plush Doll by Gift

Today's post is a bit of a filler. I'll post some pictures I took of my Alice plush doll because I didn't take much of her before. I was also testing out my new place to take pictures from. I think the photos turned out better than my previous attempts. Not by much though.

Review: Burst Angel Meg by Alter

Today's featured figure is actually the first one I bought. It's pretty old and I have to admit I didn't keep very good care of it. I mentioned before that part of the rifle broke off when I was moving to a new house which is depressing. I also don't have the box for it anymore.

Review: Figma Yuki Nagato + Wizard Version

Today I'm going to feature two figures as they're almost exactly the same. There are two Yuki Nagato figures in the Figma line and I happen to have both of them. The major difference is the second one comes with different accessories. It feels a bit of a waste to have two figures of the same character, especially when it's from the same maker...and product line.

Review: Revoltech Dark Saber

I decided to take some pictures of my figures and today I'll feature Dark Saber. It's the Revoltech version and if you want to see the Figma version then head over to this blog. I tried using some paper as a background with a lamp near me. It's not as good as a lightbox or using natural sunlight but they're not bad.

Review: Hong Meiling by Gift

My Meiling plush was delivered to me today. The tracking for my package told me it was coming today and I was thinking if I should take a shower or wait until it comes. I was just about to take one when the doorbell rang. Amazing timing. Anyways, here are some pictures I took of Meiling. Enjoy!
